What the site collects
This site does not ask you to create an account, stores no data on its servers and contains no audience measurement or advertising. The only data we receive is what you write to us. We collect no sensitive data.
The contact form
When you send the form, your name, your company name and phone number if you provide them, your email address, your need and your message are delivered to Boon Studio by the site's host, Netlify, which notifies us by email. You stay on the site. You can also write to us directly at boonstudio65@gmail.com.
Why
Solely to answer your request, prepare a collaboration if you wish and follow it up if it takes place. Your data is never used for advertising, nor sold or passed on to third parties.
Legal basis
Boon Studio's legitimate interest in replying to people who contact it (article 6.1.f GDPR) and, when a collaboration is being prepared or concluded, the pre-contractual steps and the performance of the contract (article 6.1.b).
Retention
Your messages are kept while your request is being handled, then for a maximum of 2 years after our last exchange. In the event of a collaboration, the data needed for invoicing is kept for the statutory period for accounting records (7 years).
Who has access
The two founders of Boon Studio only. The form is received by the site's host, Netlify (United States), which keeps the messages and brief technical logs (IP address, page visited) for the security of the service. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail). Both providers may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies at all: no tracking, no advertising, no audience measurement. There is therefore no consent banner. It only remembers, in your browser, the language you have chosen; that information stays on your device and identifies no one. The site's 3D object and animations run entirely in your browser and collect no data. Should we ever add an audience measurement tool, this policy would be updated and your consent requested beforehand.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). Messages received are kept in a password-protected mailbox accessible to the two founders only.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and object to its processing, by writing to boonstudio65@gmail.com. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority: dataprotectionauthority.be.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the way the site works changes. Last updated: 21 September 2026.
